ALWAYS GOOD TO WIN A CUP
Many congratulations to the Norwich Winter League mixed team who won their division in the 2024-2025 season. Captain Mary Howell collected the cup at the presentation lunch.
Well done & thanks to everyone who played over the winter; the final stats were Played 10, Won 6, Drawn 2, Lost 2. It was a competitive division & it was a good win on the final day that sealed the division win on games difference. The club thanks Mary for marshalling the squad to this successful season, it is a while since we have won a cup in this league.
Topping the division equals promotion to Division 4 for next season; a new challenge. The club are hoping to enter a second team too so that more people can play league tennis over the winter.
