Team Tennis

According to the City League website: Our women’s team is currently mid-table in Division 3, having played six matches and won three.

Our men’s teams are finding the competition tough this year and are all currently bottom of their respective divisions. Men’s A in Division 1 has lost five from five, Men’s B team in Division 5 has won one from six, and our C team (designed to give anyone who wants to play in competitive inter-club matches a chance) has won one from seven in Division 7.

Rusty Rackets

Our third Rusty Rackets course finished on June 30th, and we look forward to welcoming many of them to our Saturday Improvers sessions. The next course will start in early September after the school holidays.

We have now had over thirty people participate in these courses.

Wimbledon

A number of our members were again successful in the Wimbledon draw this year. Don’t forget to opt in when the LTA sends out their reminder for the 2026 tournament.

The TV coverage is really good, and we look forward to watching more fantastic tennis in week two.
